Child therapy based in Morris & Sussex Counties, NJ | Virtual therapy across New Jersey

Therapy for children with big feelings and the grown-ups who love them.

Specializing in tantrums, defiance, ADHD, anxiety, and parenting for infants, toddlers, and children.

Hi, I’m Meghan Seradsky.

I’m here to help you and your child calm the chaos, connect deeply, and grow together.

If parenting feels more like surviving than thriving—full of yelling, meltdowns, or tears—you’re in the right place. You’re a loving parent raising a child with big feelings and sometimes big behaviors. And yes, it’s exhausting!

Maybe you’ve asked friends for advice, read parenting books, listened to podcasts, or searched online—but nothing seems to fully help. Parenting challenges are complex, and what works for one family doesn’t always work for another.

That’s where I come in. I’m a child and adult psychotherapist who helps parents of toddlers and young children navigate tantrums, defiance, aggression, and avoidance. Whether your child has ADHD, anxiety, autism —or your family is just feeling stuck—I provide guidance, support, and practical tools tailored to your child and your family that last beyond the therapy room.

Let’s team up and make family life feel good.

Therapies Offered at Yellow Table

  • Building blocks symbolizing child development, therapy foundations, and parent-child attachment and bonding used in PCIT and family therapy.

    Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

PCIT is an evidence-based therapy that targets disruptive behaviors in children ages 0-7. I coach parents in how to use play therapy skills to improve cooperation, emotion regulation, communication, and social skills.

  • Tangled ball of yarn, a heart, and a smooth ball of yarn symbolizing emotional growth, parent-child connection, and anxiety support through SPACE and therapy.

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions

SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety and OCD. I coach parents on the changes they can make at home to reduce anxiety and increase independence.

  • Two people holding large puzzle pieces that fit together, representing collaboration, connection, and problem-solving in child therapy, parent therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Also known as CBT, targets unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve mood, increase assertiveness, and promote long-term change. CBT is a gold standard I use to address anxiety and depression in adolescents and young adults.

  • Lightbulb with a filament shaped like blooming flowers, symbolizing growth, insight, and positive change through child therapy, parent therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

    Solution-Focused Therapy

Is an evidence-based therapy used to address depression, anxiety, stress, and life changes. It focuses on solutions instead of problems. Together, we identify exceptions to the problems that bring you to therapy and develop goals to increase those exceptions.

Ready to book with me? Consider calling your insurance company to get more information about your mental health care benefits. Good questions to ask are:

    • Do I have mental health care benefits in my plan?

    • Do I need preauthorization to receive mental health care benefits?

    • Do I have a deductible? Does that include medical? Have I met it?

    • Do you cover mental health services provided by a licensed clinical social worker?

    • Do you cover mental health services provided virtually?

    • Do you cover mental health services for the following CPT codes: 90791, 90837, 90846, 90847, 90853, 90785?

    • What is my co-insurance / copay?

    • How many sessions does my plan cover per calendar year?

  • Self-pay (or paying out of pocket) is an option for folks who do not have an insurance plan I participate with. My self-pay rates are:

    • Individual/Family Therapy: $165 per session

    • Group Therapy: $60 per session

Not sure if your insurance offers out-of-network coverage?

Call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health care benefits in my plan?

    • Do I need preauthorization to receive mental health care benefits?

    • What is my out-of-network deductible? Does that include medical? Have I met it?

    • Do you cover mental health services provided by a licensed clinical social worker?

    • Do you cover mental health services for the following CPT codes: 90791, 90837, 90846, 90847, 90853, 90785?

    • What is my co-insurance / copay for out-of-network care?

    • If I have out-of-network benefits, will I be reimbursed the full amount I paid or a percentage? What percentage?

    • How long does it typically take to process an out-of-network mental health services claim and issue a reimbursement check?

  • How long are therapy sessions?

    Sessions are typically 53-60 minutes.

    Do you offer in-person sessions?

I currently offer virtual/telehealth therapy. It’s important to me that clients get the best possible care and most effective therapy in whatever setting I work. So, I make sure I stay on top of best practices for telehealth and I follow all guidelines to effectively deliver evidence-based therapies online.

    What is a CPT code?

A Current Procedural Terminology code, or CPT code, is a code used to report the type of health care service provided. Insurance companies require a CPT code when determining coverage for a specific service. The CPT codes I most frequently use for therapy services are:

    • 90791: Initial evaluation

    • 90837: Psychotherapy, 60 minutes

    • 90846: Family psychotherapy, without patient present

    • 90847: Family or couples psychotherapy, with patient present

    • 90853: Group therapy

    • 90785: Interactive Complexity (used in combination with 90837 for PCIT sessions)
